How To Replace Dart Flights

The flights on your darts are the most vulnerable part, and because of that they will need to be changed pretty often.

The flights themselves are made of plastic, feather or rubber, they also needs to be removed every time you put the darts away. Luckily there is allot of replacements available, and very easy to change when you understand the process.

The standard flights are recommended to the beginner, as they tend to stabilize the dart midflight, the narrow flights are best for the shorter darts and the aggressive thrower.

To change it simply pull the old flight out of the shaft, throw it away, buy one extra. Don’t keep the old as a spare, try to have the darts the best way possible.

Change the shaft if you are needed to, plastic shafts tend to get broken easily.

Bend the new flight so the flights are at about 90 degrees to each other.

Then you simply slide the new flight into the slit on the dart.
